TechForFire is a real-time operational service for the support of tactical firefighting.

Means used
The service is based on the latest scientific and technical advances in satellite mapping and aerial monitoring, when available, as well as in real-time fire propagation modelling and risk forecasting.
Results
This service is primarily geared towards national and international operational centers for crisis management. It also easily interfaces with the information and alerting services to the population and the infrastructure operators (e.g. motorway, railway, electricity and telecommunications).
During the fire crises management, TechForFire provides complete and continuous information about:
- The current situation of the fire theatre: precise positions of the active fires, burnt areas, position of the involved firefighting forces, position of the elements of interest
- The risk forecast for the coming hours: forecasts of the fire propagations and evaluation of the vulnerable areas to be defended according to different priorities
The TechForFire solution has been validated in real conditions on different types of fires and territories: France, Spain, Austria, United States, Australia…
TechForFire can be deployed in any region of the world.
