Space Oceanography Engineer (M/F)

NOVELTIS is looking for a Space Oceanography Engineer (M/F).

Missions:

  • You will contribute to the design and implementation of innovative Engineering and R&D projects in collaboration with space agencies (e.g. ESA, EUMETSAT, CNES…), scientific partners, industrial stakeholders, as well as the European Commission.

  • You will be involved in the development of new spatial data processing chains and products (altimetric, oceanographic…).

  • You will also have the opportunity to work and innovate in the field of oceanographic modelling: Development of new modelling solutions for environmental applications, design and development of innovative operational products, etc.

  • You can be in charge of project management activities.

  • You support the preparation of NOVELTIS future projects by contributing to the drafting of new proposals.

Profile:

  • Holding an Engineering and / or Doctor degree, you have a taste for innovation, new technologies and the field of oceanography.

  • You master the manipulation and processing of altimetric and oceanographic satellite data.

  • You have skills or experience in oceanographic modelling.

  • You have computer skills: e.g. Python, Matlab, C/C ++, R…

  • Curious in nature, involved and rigorous, you particularly like working in a team.

  • Good practice of oral and written English.

This position, which is open on permanent contracts, is based on our headquarters in Labège (Toulouse, France).
