NOVELTIS is looking for a Space Oceanography Engineer (M/F).
Missions:
You will contribute to the design and implementation of innovative Engineering and R&D projects in collaboration with space agencies (e.g. ESA, EUMETSAT, CNES…), scientific partners, industrial stakeholders, as well as the European Commission.
You will be involved in the development of new spatial data processing chains and products (altimetric, oceanographic…).
You will also have the opportunity to work and innovate in the field of oceanographic modelling: Development of new modelling solutions for environmental applications, design and development of innovative operational products, etc.
You can be in charge of project management activities.
You support the preparation of NOVELTIS future projects by contributing to the drafting of new proposals.
Profile:
Holding an Engineering and / or Doctor degree, you have a taste for innovation, new technologies and the field of oceanography.
You master the manipulation and processing of altimetric and oceanographic satellite data.
You have skills or experience in oceanographic modelling.
You have computer skills: e.g. Python, Matlab, C/C ++, R…
Curious in nature, involved and rigorous, you particularly like working in a team.
Good practice of oral and written English.
This position, which is open on permanent contracts, is based on our headquarters in Labège (Toulouse, France).
